Life Trax Productive Conflict Resolution Program – Whole School Approach................

Life Trax’s Productive Conflict Resolution Program – Whole School Approach is one of the most comprehensive approaches to conflict resolution education in the country. The number of staff-training hours, the integration of peer mediation and restorative justice/discipline programs, and parent and community outreach set it apart as a quality resource for creating safe, caring and just school communities.

The PCRP – Whole School Approach serves to train and educate students, teachers, administrators, parents and school resource officers, K-12, in a broad range of problem solving processes and relationship building techniques. The program is geared to affect whole school cultural change through a comprehensive package of training and education.

Mediation Role Plays

This program provides the entire school community with a common vocabulary with which to discuss conflict, cooperation, and caring. Then, in progressive steps, a philosophy of productive conflict resolution is disseminated throughout the school using professional training, classroom activities, coaching and printed materials.

In this systemic approach the entire community is addressed in a variety of forums and in a number of different ways. As the whole culture of the school community is aligned with principals and practices of productive conflict resolution, change begins to take place.
