Positive Discipline In Schools
Positive Discipline! It's fundamental. No doubt
changing a school wide punitive community to a school wide
positive disciplined culture may seem daunting. It need not
be. When positive discipline is carefully woven into the fabric
of student's everyday school life, students and teachers begin
to view mistakes as opportunities to learn, limits and boundaries
are met with respect and dignity, while social responsibility
becomes a collaborative process. Learn practical strategies
and skills to address classroom management, decrease office
referrals, when to employ restorative justice principles and
how to facilitate community conferences. Beyond rewards and
punishment is explored and sets the foundation for providing
students with intrinsic motivation to do the right thing.
So if you want to foster belonging, make more meaningful connections
with students and at the same time foster self- discipline,
this program is for you.
