“Welcome to the Peace Place, a place where peace is nurtured and provides practical strategies to resolve conflicts. Welcome to a place where practical life skills are taught to level the playing field of power for children and adults during conflict. Sounds nice, but where is such a place? And how would we go about getting there? I have no doubt most reading this would agree, a place that practices mutual respect, promotes peace and fosters social and emotional growth, would be a place that holds genuine power. Welcome to the Peace Place.”
